Assalamaualaikum and good afternoon..lallala
Today learning is baout active + passive voice
Active Voice, Passive Voice
There are two special forms for verbs called voice:
- Active voice
- Passive voice
The active voice is the "normal" voice. This is the voice that we use most of the time. You are probably already familiar with the active voice. In the active voice, the object receives the action of the verb:
active | subject | verb | object |
> | |||
Cats | eat | fish. |
The passive voice is less usual. In the passive voice, the subject receives the action of the verb:
passive | subject | verb | object |
< | |||
Fish | are eaten | by cats. |
The object of the active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb:
subject | verb | object | |
active | Everybody | drinks | water. |
passive | Water | is drunk | by everybody. |

Assalamualaikum....wahhh!!my tenses is not good.
Put all the information that the reader will want to know at the beginning of the letter, before you even begin to write the body. If you're writing to a close friend, you won't need much except the date, which will help your friend remember when it was received. If you're writing a business letter, on the other hand, the reader may not even know who wrote the letter (if an assistant threw the envelopes away before passing along the letters). The arrangement of this information depends on the type of letter you're writing, but as long as you provide it neatly and completely, you should be fine.
- Your address, sometimes including contact information; some people prefer to write this out at the bottom of the letter, under the signature and printed name. This can also go at the top as a letterhead.
- The recipient's name, address, contact information; in business letters, this can be referred to as the "inside address"; if you don't know the recipient's title (Ms., Mrs., Mr., or Dr.) on the side of caution--use Ms. or Dr. if you think it might apply;[1] use your country's address; if the inside address is in another country, write that country's name in capital letters as the last line.
- The date
2 - Start with a proper greeting. The opening should begin at the left side of the page, not the middle or up against the right side of the sheet. The most common opening is "Dear" followed by the person's first name and a comma. For a more casual greeting, you can write "Hello (name)," or "Hey (name)," but if the letter is formal, use the recipient's last name and a colon instead of a comma (e.g. "Dear Mr. Johnson:". Sometimes, if you don't know the recipient's name, you can write "To Whom It May Concern:" If you don't know the person's gender, write out his or her full name to avoid using “Mr.” or “Ms.” (e.g. Dear Taylor Johnson:).
3 - Write an opening paragraph. Tailor your opening to the recipient. For example, if the letter is casual, you can begin with, "What's up?" or "How's it going?" Otherwise, a simple "How are you?" is fine. If it is a business letter, be direct about why you are writing the letter. Summarize your intentions and be sure to write clearly so that the reader will understand you.
4 - Construct the body of the letter. This is the part that will really be unique to each letter. Most business letters should be no more than two pages long, but casual letters can be as long or as short as you want them to be. No matter who the recipient is, try not to ramble. Keep each paragraph engaging.
5 - Use the closing paragraph to indicate the type of response you are seeking. If you would like a letter in return, you can write, "Please write when you have a chance" or, if you prefer a phone call/email, write "Call me soon." or "Email me some time".
6 - Include a closing such as "Love always" ,"Cheers", "Sincerely", "Talk soon", or "Look forward to seeing you soon". Again, choose your closing based on the recipient and the level of formality. The closing can be aligned on the left or the right side of the page. In business letters, stick with "Regards," or "Respectfully," and sign your name underneath. Then print your name under the signature.
7 - Address your envelope. Your address should be written on the front of the envelope in the upper left hand corner or on the back. The recipient's address must be on the front of the envelope, right in the middle. Fold your letter in any way you would like, but just be sure that it will fit into the envelope. Put your letter in the envelope, seal it, stamp it, and send it off.

Assalamualaikum everyone espacially to my friends and my lecturer Miss Baiti ♥
On this day..I have learned something about the tenses and i am very excited about what is taught by Miss Baiti ♥,of course tenses are learning the most basic but I've forgotten because I've left itfor over 4 years
Of course practice make perfect..so i try my best to keep it up
There is Present,Past & Future
Simple Tenses
The simple tenses are used to show permanent characteristics of people and events or what happens regularly, habitually or in a single completed action.
Continuous Tenses
The continuous tenses are used when talking about a particular point in time.
Perfect Tenses
Sometimes you need to give just a little bit more information about an action or state...and that is where the perfect tenses come in.
The perfect tenses are used when an action or situation in the present is linked to a moment in the past. It is often used to show things that have happened up to now but aren't finished yet or to emphasize that something happened but is not true anymore. When they end determines which of them you use.
Perfect tenses are never used when we say when something happened i.e. yesterday, last year etc. but can be used when discussing the duration of something i.e. often, for, always, since etc..
The Future Tenses
Discussing the future in English can seem complicated. The present simple, present continuous, present perfect simple & the present perfect continuous can all be used and often it is possible to use more than one structure, but have the same meaning.

Assalamualaikum before i begginning my word. So,this week is all about topic sentence and thesis statement.
Topic Sentence
The topic sentence and the thesis are analogous. In other words,
the topic sentence is to the paragraph what the thesis is to the entire essay, chapter, or book. While the thesis gives unity to the
essay, the topic sentence gives unity to the paragraph by
developing one major point suggested in the controlling idea of t
he thesis. Like the thesis, the topic sentence is integral to the
organization of the essay. Each paragraph should have a topic
sentence.
The organization of a paragraph is based on the topic sentence.
Although it can be found in any part of the paragraph,
the topic sentence is frequently the first sentence in the paragraph.
Elements of a topic sentence are:
- main subject
- controlling idea.
The controlling idea steers the main topic in the direction that the writer wants.
Writing goal: Understanding paragraph parts
Language focus:
- Identifying verbs and fragments
- nouns and nouns forms
1. It contains the dominating idea that the paragraph will develop.
2. It normally appears as the first sentence in each paragraph.
3. The controlling idea of the topic sentence is the essential
descriptive or judgmental or argumentative part of the sentence
and falls in the predicate of the sentence
4. The topic sentence, like the thesis, is also focused.
5. It is never a prediction nor a question, but rather a single declarative statement.
Thesis statement
A thesis statement is the basic stand that an author takes, the opinion that he expresses, and the major
point that he wishes to make about his subject. It contains the controlling idea of the essay, and therefore, gives the direction and the unity to all the separate elements of the writing. The purpose of the essay is
to convince the reader that the thesis is indeed a valid one.
1. The first step in writing an effective thesis statement involves the focusing, limiting, or narrowing
of the topic. The scope of the thesis will depend on length, purpose, audience, occasion, and knowledge
(see handout—Narrowing the topic)
2. Each thesis will (a) state the subject clearly and specifically so that it can be broken into parts; (b) take a
stand or attitude about the subject; and (c) provide the direction by indicating, implicitly or explicitly, the
order in which the essay will develop the points.
3. The controlling idea in the thesis is a word, phrase, or clause that states the opinion, attitude, or stand
that the writer takes about the subject; it provides the angle from which the writer wishes to approach
his subject.
The thesis statement states the thesis or argument of the author in an essay or similar document. Usually no more than a sentence or two long, it is a focused section of text that clearly delineates the argument that is presented in the work and is usually found at the end of the first paragraph of a paper. The thesis statement says what the author or authors are trying to prove in the document. The subject of the thesis statement reflects the topic of the paper and the predicate is usually what the author of the paper is trying to prove. The thesis statement is invaluable when constructing an outline, as it shows what points need to be proven.
A thesis statement is usually restated in a closing paragraph, if in a formal essay, containing a slightly varied format and using synonyms as to not make a passive statement. A thesis statement could be described as a 'topic sentence of the topic sentences (in the essay)' or an 'outine of the outline(in an essay or similar document)' because it can be the most important part of the opening section or paragraph in an essay or similar document. It has to be argued with whatever topic you have chosen to write a bout and you have to back it up on how it argues it.
Miss Baiti also want us to write Topic sentence and Thesis statement for our own. After finish we must pass up to Miss Baiti to mark.so that's all for this week...Bye~^O^

Message + Context
and the third is about messages/content of application letter
1. Ethos - How you potray yourself in ur writting
Ethos
Pathos
Logos
2. Pathos - The readers emotion/reaction upon reading ur writting.
3. Logos - "speech" " mesagge" "you convenying lines "
Ethos
Ethos is a Greek word and denotes the guiding beliefs or ideals that characterize a community, a nation or an ideology. The Greeks originally used this word to refer to the power of music to influence its hearer's emotions, behaviors, and even morals. The Greek stories of or exhibit this idea in a compelling way. Its use in rhetoric is closely based on the Greek terminology used by aristotle in his three artistic proofs.
Pathos
Pathos is related to the words pathetic, sympathy and empathy. Whenever you accept an claim based on how it makes you feel without fully analyzing the rationale behind the claim, you are acting on pathos. They may be any emotions: love, fear, patriotism, guilt, hate or joy. A majority of arguments in the popular press are heavily dependent on pathetic appeals. The more people react without full consideration for the WHY, the more effective an argument can be. Although the pathetic appeal can be manipulative, it is the cornerstone of moving people to action. Many arguments are able to persuade people logically, but the apathetic audience may not follow through on the call to action. Appeals to pathos touch a nerve and compel people to not only listen, but to also take the next step and act in the world.
Logos
The Greek word logos is the basis for the English word logic. Logos is a broader idea than formal logic--the highly sybolic and mathematical logic that you might study in a philosophy course. Logos refers to any attempt to appeal to the intellect, the general meaning of "logical argument." Everyday arguments rely heavily on ethos and pathos, but academic arguments rely more on logos. Yes, these arguments will call upon the writers' credibility and try to touch the audience's emotions, but there will more often than not be logical chains of reasoning supporting all.
The best part of this week's class was our superhero name and describing the ability. In this task i must create a name for my self that simplify my best quality. My best name character is "Ayaka Kugilartz" and "Super Vintage collector".Ya, i know the second name is lame.hahaha..So i guess the 1st one i much betterto describe me.That is because i love art since primary school.when i went to high school my interest becoming more deeper than before. That is because my art teacher always courage me to show my talent. She also very kind teacher.I love to drawing, create something new stuff such as scrap book n album book.I also have participated art club when i'm study in high school. At the end of the class, Miss Baiti gave an assignment that I'm doing right now. This blog.I also type other activities in class before Miss Baiti give us this blogging assignment.
